So, these are my main wishes for Sims 5 or any other Sims-like game we may eventually get. Possibility to create our own world or at least modify the pre-created worlds as we wish, including adding our own lots. Improving on Sims' personalities and multitasking. Not these half-baked EPs we have in Sims 4, which always have something missing, only for it to be added to another EP, GP or SP. The parody on them they have in Sims 4 should be buried in past.Īnd the most important thing for me: EPs that have everything possible for their theme. Return of wants and fears from Sims 2 or at least wishes from Sims 3. Pets (including horses and possibly other farm animals) and seasons in base game (though this one is probably too much to ask, seeing how those themes are always the most wanted and most profitable EPs).

Return of cars and bikes in base game, with possible public transportation, like buses and trains.

Return of Create-a-Style or at least colour wheel. Return of the open world (not just open neighbourhood, but the whole world has to be open without any loading screen) with possibility to travel to other worlds. So in short what do I expect out of “Sims 5”? Slightly bigger worlds with less loading screens, more piecemeal content with a focus on individual purchase rather than entire packs, “packs” probably reformatted to be smaller (think gameplay packs, like a game pack minus the cas/bb stuff), social features, multiplayer probably, “improved” multitasking? (Because they will not drop a core function of the game engine which I almost guarantee they will reuse), ads. They will probably use an updated version of Sims 4’s engine that expands upon the online functions that are currently disabled - because this is EA and they did not make a garbage game into a success to make a better engine for the next game. Also no question as to what platforms it will launch on, PC/Mac, and also console, day 1. I do think the next game will be open world and 64bit at launch, because anything less is subpar for a modern game - even by 2014 standards but I digress. EA charges a premium for tiny pockets of space with no alternatives. Can’t sell players recolors of base game/dlc content if there’s a color wheel so I highly doubt they will include one.
